About the Gala
Ryder’s Room provides resources and support to individuals with autism, developmental disabilities and their families. Through educational workshops, assistive technology, advocacy, and referral services, we empower and enhance the quality of life for those we serve. By promoting global awareness and inclusion we work to create a world where everyone with disabilities is valued and has access to the resources, they need to have a happy and meaningful life.
Funds raised for the gala will allow Ryder's Room to continue providing individuals with autism and their families resources and support through advocacy, education, and community programs. Your generous contributions will help expand access to early intervention services, inclusive education initiatives, and vital resources that promote independence and lifelong success. Together, we are building a more inclusive world where every individual on the autism spectrum is valued, understood, and given the opportunity to thrive.

Holly Robinson Peete is an acclaimed actress, author, philanthropist, and one of the nation's most influential autism advocates. Inspired by her son RJ's autism diagnosis, she co-founded the HollyRod Foundation, which provides education, resources, and vocational opportunities for individuals with autism and Parkinson's disease. Beyond her celebrated entertainment career, Holly has dedicated decades to raising awareness, supporting families, and advancing inclusion through advocacy, bestselling books, and community initiatives. Her unwavering commitment to creating a more inclusive world has inspired countless families across the country.

Taneka Bowles
Taneka Bowles is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and passionate autism advocate dedicated to creating opportunities for others. As Founder and CEO of the Tampa Bay Fashion Experience and the Tampa Bay Fashion Foundation, she has empowered aspiring creatives while raising more than $500,000 to support underserved communities. Inspired by her son Tyson, who has autism, Taneka has also raised more than $100,000 for autism organizations and championed initiatives that expand inclusion and accessibility. Elias Jenkins
Elias Jenkins is an inspiring student leader, athlete, and self-advocate whose resilience has turned life's challenges into remarkable achievements. Diagnosed with sensory integration disorder, central auditory processing disorder (CAPD), and ADHD, Elias has overcome obstacles with determination, excelling academically, athletically, and through community service. An Honor Roll student, member of multiple honor societies, and active volunteer, he is committed to creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels they belong.

Nadine Wright-Arbubakrr
Nadine Wright-Arbubakrr is the Founder and Executive Director of Nassan’s Place, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to autism resources, support, and opportunities for underserved families. Inspired by her son Nassan’s autism diagnosis, she transformed a personal challenge into a powerful mission, creating programs that have impacted countless lives throughout New Jersey and beyond. A nationally recognized advocate, Nadine has earned numerous honors for her leadership, including recognition as the 2025 New York Giants Inspire Change Changemaker.

Ke'Niya Wiseman is a dedicated caregiver, entrepreneur, and special needs advocate whose greatest role is being a loving big sister to her brother, Kevin "King KJ" Smith. Inspired by KJ's journey with Poland-Moebius syndrome, she has become a passionate voice for siblings and families navigating the special needs community. Through advocacy and a widely followed social media platform celebrating their remarkable bond, Ke'Niya has inspired countless others while helping create meaningful opportunities for her brother. Her compassion, leadership, and unwavering commitment exemplify the powerful impact siblings have in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Highlights from Last Year's Gala
Last year’s gala presented by Prolific Music Group & Black Bird Smart Innovations, was a powerful and heartfelt evening that brought together families, advocates, and community leaders in celebration of connection, awareness, and impact.
The evening was masterfully guided by legendary MC Lyte, whose presence set the tone for an unforgettable night. Guests were treated to electrifying performances by Mike Epps, Redman, Freeway, Avery Wilson, Lil Cease, El DeBarge, and Christopher Williams, each bringing their own energy and artistry to the stage. The night beautifully reflected the mission of creating inclusive spaces where every family feels seen, supported, and celebrated.
